Ramen Restaurant in Porto
Our Passion
Ramen Joe was born from a dream: to bring the soul of Japanese ramen to Portugal.
Founded by Japanese chef Yakubo Joe, a disciple of the legendary ramen master Suzuki Kiyotaka, Ramen Joe blends passion, tradition, and authenticity in every bowl.
At just 19 years old, Joe opened his first restaurant near Praça do Rato. Late nights in the kitchen, slow-cooked broths for 10–12 hours, and handcrafted ingredients—all to recreate the true taste of Japan in Portugal.
Today, Ramen Joe has four locations, each offering handmade ramen, authentic flavors, and heartfelt hospitality. From the greeting “Irasshaimase” to the farewell “Arigato gozaimashita,” every visit reflects Japanese tradition and the care behind every dish.
Every bowl tells a story—of dedication, discovery, and a dream to bring Japan to Portugal. At Ramen Joe, you don’t just eat ramen; you experience it.
Every bowl served at Ramen Joe is the result of Chef Joe’s personal vision—crafted by hand, inspired by Japan, and perfected in Portugal.
Authentic Asian Cuisine and Drinks.
